Profilmec acquires Industrial Wire Processing – LIFI S.r.L.
Trasteel Group is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Profilmec, as per the preliminary signed at the time, has successfully completed the acquisition of 90% of Lavorazione Industriale Fili – LIFI S.r.l., a renowned supplier of processed steel tubes in the automotive sector. 10% of the company will remain held by Proma Group, confirming the strategic partnership between the two groups.
LIFI S.r.l. specializes in the production of precision steel tubes, cold-formed and high-frequency welded tubes made from hot-rolled, pickled, cold-rolled and coated. Its multifunctional production facility in Lombardore (TO) is equipped with cutting-edge CO2 and fiber lasers for custom cutting and processing of high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel tubes.
